Kevashini Govender-Naidoo
Kevashini Govender-Naidoo is a University of Cape Town trained
clinical psychologist and a specialist organisational development and
support consultant. After approximately 20 years of clinical
experience, Kevashini co-founded Impilo Consulting in 2017. She took
an interest in systems-psychodynamic work with organisations as a
psychology student, and developed an expertise through extensive and
diverse experience in the public and non governmental sectors.
Her
clinical experience also includes public and private practice with
Individuals, groups and organisations In South Africa and the United
Kingdom. She is especially interested in the impact of mental health
on an organisation/workplace, student wellness within tertiary
institutions and scholarship funds as well as issues of race, power
and gender within organisations. Kevashini currently consults for the
University of Cape Town and University of Stellenbosch.
Ayesha Booley-Schreuder
Ayesha Booley-Schreuder, is a Clinical Psychologist, registered with
the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). She completed
her undergraduate studies in Psychology in 1995 as well as her Masters
Clinical Psychology in 2007, both at the University of Cape Town.
Ayesha Ayesha has diverse experience In the NGO and community sectors
as a specialist organisational development and support consultant. She
co-founded Impilo Consulting in 2017 and prior to this has had
extensive clinical experience working with individuals of all ages,
groups and organisations, both in private practice and within the
context of the University of Cape Town.
Her special area
of interest interest is in working psychodynamically with groups and
organisations. Ayesha has years of clinical expertise In working with
students and young adults of different ages, student wellness services
at the tertiary scholarship funds, and a keen interest in mental
health and wellness within corporate and NGO settings. Her diverse
experience within these contexts span across race, ethnicity, class,
and issues of power and conflict in a broad range of organisations.
Ayesha currently consults for the University of Cape Town and
University of Stellenbosch.
Nivan Bijou
Of Nivan’s 23 years in financial and financial related industries, his
last 15 years have been in payments. Over the 8 years he has set up a
number of payments & loyalty companies including Craft, Imafin and
Wayawaya. Prior to this Nivan worked for MasterCard across South Asia,
Middle East & Africa (SAMEA) where he was been presented with
opportunities across the entire payment spectrum, and with engagements
across financial institutions, vendors, regulators & merchants. His
roles with MasterCard included leading the Market Management and
Business Development initiatives across Sub Sahara Africa (SSA),
Heading Debit Card Sales across SAMEA, Heading all Core Issuing
Product Sales across Middle East & Levant, and the most recent was
Heading Acceptance across Middle East & Africa (MEA).
His
Debit Card and Core Products roles were based out of Dubai, while his
other roles were based out of Johannesburg. Prior to MasterCard Nivan
was a Corporate Banker with Absa Corporate and Merchant Bank where he
spent 5 years. Before Absa, Nivan was with First National Bank based
out of Durban, South Africa. At First National Bank he was a graduate
trainee. He holds an MBA from Wits Business School, Bachelor of
Commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a CAIB (SA), and a
Higher Diploma in Corporate Law from the University of Johannesburg
Sumit Mittal
Sumit Mittal is an accomplished professional with over 19 years of
corporate experience having worked across world-leading brands such as
GE Capital & Mastercard Worldwide within South Asia, Middle East &
Africa Region. During his 17 years of tenure at Mastercard, Mr. Mittal
spent 11 years in Dubai and held various senior roles including being
the Vice President and Country Manager for Kuwait, Qatar & Oman,
followed by heading the Global Accounts Division and then the Head of
Merchant Acquiring for MEA region before diving into the
entrepreneurial world. Mr. Mittal started the current venture keeping
the growing mental health issues across the world and thought it to be
a serious issue to warrant leaving the corporate life.
He spent the next 12 month understanding the problems faced by people
including impact of social media and then created a platform which is
a combination of social media platform in the front end and a mental
health platform as an end goal with appropriate features and
functionality. The platform is a well-known platform on mental health
with users from across the globe and has been covered in well-known
newspapers and publications. Mr. Mittal’s experience is backed by
strong education foundation and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in
Mechanical Engineering, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management
(Finance) and a Master’s in Business Management from Warwick Business
School, UK.
